Most frequent questions and answers
In order for MilRecruiter to recognize the status of your BogiDope membership, you need to connect the two accounts via a unique code. Follow these steps:
- Log into your BogiDope account
- Go to bogidope.com/token
- Copy the 16-character Pro Access Code
- Log into your MilRecruiter account
- Click on the blue profile button in the upper right corner for an account dropdown menu
- Click on “Upgrade Account”
- Paste in the 16-character Pro Access Code copied from BogiDope and hit “Upgrade”
- Log OUT of MilRecruiter and then log back in to see your activated MilRecruiter Pro account features
Once connected, all BogiDope members automatically receive MilRecruiter Pro, including Global Analytics. BogiDope Academy members also get Squadron Analytics.
MilRecruiter Free will ALWAYS allow you to apply to unlimited squadrons at no cost, but each application will be managed individually. You’ll need to update each application separately and revalidate them every 30 days to confirm accuracy in an effort to minimize stale/ghosted apps in the system. (Example: If you want to apply to 10 squadrons, you will create/manage 10 separate applications and revalidate each every 30-days.)
MilRecruiter Pro, included with a BogiDope membership, lets you manage a single application for all squadron submissions, saving time and reducing errors. It also includes Global Analytics to compare your UPT or Rated application to others. BogiDope Academy members additionally get Squadron Analytics to assess competitiveness for each squadron. (Example: If you want to apply to 10 squadrons, you create/manage one application and then choose the squadrons you’d like to submit to. Plus no need to revalidate every 30 days and you get access to Analytics data to measure your competitiveness.)
We’re making these changes to ensure the platform remains efficient, sustainable, and free of outdated data. By requiring free members to consistently revalidate individual applications, we’ll be able to reduce stale accounts and keep our applicant pools up-to-date for squadron hiring managers. MilRecruiter Pro restores the single-application model with added analytics for a streamlined experience.
Yes! MilRecruiter Free will always allow you to apply to an unlimited number of squadrons at no cost. Each application is managed individually, and you’ll revalidate them every 30 days to keep them active in an effort to reduce stale/ghosted apps in the system.
MilRecruiter Pro offers several features that will save you time and reduce errors, including:
One application for multiple squadrons: You manage one application that can be submitted to all squadrons, eliminating the need to update multiple applications. For example, if you update your flight time, you only edit one application instead of separate ones for each squadron. This reduces errors and saves significant time, especially for users applying to many squadrons.
Auto Revalidation: Your active BogiDope membership automatically revalidates your applications, eliminating the need to login each month to individually revalidate each application.
Global Analytics: See how you compare with all published applicants in the system (previously $120/yr, now included in BogiDope memberships for free).
Squadron Analytics (Exclusive for BogiDope Academy members): See how you compare with all published applicants at individual squadrons to gain insights on where and how to maximize your opportunities.
Global Analytics, included with MilRecruiter Pro, allows you to compare your UPT or Rated application to all published applications on MilRecruiter. This insight helps you understand your competitiveness and refine your application to stand out to squadron recruiters. Previously, this feature cost $120/year but is now part of a BogiDope membership at no additional cost.
Squadron Analytics is a feature available to BogiDope Academy members. It provides detailed insights into how your application compares specifically to each squadron you’re applying to. It helps you identify where you have the best chances of getting selected and where you can improve. This feature is included at no extra cost for Academy members.
MilRecruiter Pro is included with any BogiDope membership (it is not a stand alone product on MilRecruiter). If you’re already a BogiDope member, see “How do I activate MilRecruiter Pro” in this FAQ section. If not, you can upgrade to any BogiDope membership to unlock Pro features, including single-application control and Analytics.

If you’re a BogiDope member, your application remains in MilRecruiter Pro, allowing you to manage a single application with automatic monthly revalidation. If you’re not a BogiDope member, you’ll receive a 14-day MilRecruiter Pro trial until May 5, 2025. After the trial, your single pro application will duplicate into individual applications per squadron in the free tier. Any published applications will remain published, but will require separate updates and 30-day revalidation after May 5, 2025.
The 30-day revalidation ensures that squadron recruiters receive current, accurate applications, improving the platform’s quality. This process helps eliminate stale accounts that have accumulated since our beta launch in 2022. BogiDope members with MilRecruiter Pro have their applications automatically revalidated each month, saving time.
Yes! If you’re a non-BogiDope member with a MilRecruiter account as of April 21, 2025, you’ll receive a 14-day MilRecruiter Pro trial, giving you access to single-application control and Global Analytics. After the trial ends on May 5, 2025, you can join BogiDope to continue using Pro features or transition to the free tier.
Visit bogidope.com to learn about BogiDope membership options and sign up. Membership includes MilRecruiter Pro, Global Analytics, and additional resources to support your aviation career. BogiDope Academy members also receive Squadron Analytics.
Applications in the free tier that are not revalidated every 30 days may become inactive (switched from published to draft), as this ensures squadrons only see up-to-date applications. You’ll receive reminders to revalidate, and the process is quick and straightforward. BogiDope members have automatic revalidation via MilRecruiter Pro, so no action is needed.
If no action is taken after your account becomes “stale” for six months, you account and all associated data will be deleted from the system. Several notifications will be sent to you before any action is taken from our team.
MilRecruiter Pro is tied to your BogiDope account. So if you cancel your BogiDope account, it will automatically cancel your MilRecruiter Pro account.
To cancel your BogiDope account, first login into BogiDope. Click on “My Account” in the mobile menu or your username in the upper right corner of the screen (desktop) to see a dropdown of account admin options. Select Account –>Orders, Subscriptions, etc –> Subscriptions to cancel/change/renew your membership.
